JOIN OUR GROWING TEAM!

Norwell Farms is looking for a talented Farm Educator to join our non-profit organization at our community farm. If you are interested in helping us build our education program, now is your chance.

History of Programming at Norwell Farms

In 2015, Norwell Farms ran a sold-out pilot summer program, where over 80 kids ages 5-10 participated in farm chores, learned how to care for livestock at the farm, and helped with vegetable planting and harvesting. This success led us to hire a part time Program & Outreach Director who expanded the educational programs and community offerings in 2016 and 2017, including Farm Fun Days, workshops, weekly summer Story Time, field trips, development and maintenance of our learning garden and coordination of our volunteer opportunities, to name a few.

We are excited to re-launch a full offering of community educational programming in 2019, continuing our focus on children’s programs.

about Norwell Farms

Norwell Farms is a 7-acre community farm on the South Shore of Massachusetts. Norwell Farms began as a town vote to start a CSA on 1.5 acres of town land. This upcoming 2019 season is our 10th rowing season based at the historic Jacobs Farm on Main Street in Norwell. We have rejuvenated this historic farm and reconnected the Norwell Community to a local, working farm. We are currently partnered with Cross Street Flower Farm as our Farm Managers onsite.
