COUNSELOR IN TRAINING PROGRAM

Learn alongside our Farm Educator, Kate, to develop and run farm-based educational activities, including preparing, planting, and maintaining an organic vegetable garden, caring for chickens, and putting a smile on kids’ faces!

CITs are local high school students looking for experience working with children in an educational outdoor classroom. CITs will be expected to apply to the program and meet with our education director to be accepted. We are looking for CITs who are team players, enthusiastic, and have some past experience interacting with children. The focus of the program is to foster leadership skills, cultivate a relationship with Norwell Farms, as well as offer the opportunity for skill development for future employment. The CIT position is volunteer based and can count for community service hours.
