Welcome to Norwell Farms!

We are a new, not-for-profit community farm in Norwell, MA. Our field is 1.6 acres at the historic Jacobs Farm Homestead right on Main Street.

We seek to benefit the community by

• Providing fresh, seasonal food to our CSA  members beginning in the end of June 2010. 

• Offering educational programs to the public about sustainable farming and local food production.

• Bringing the community together through events and volunteer opportunities at the farm.

• Providing a portion of the food grown at Norwell Farms to residents in need through the Norwell Food Pantry.

Save the Date! Fall Harvest Brunch on Sunday, October17th from 11-2PM.

We are planning our First Annual Harvest Brunch for Sunday, October 17th from 11am -2pm.  More details will be coming soon so please mark your calendars now. We hope everyone will come together for this Norwell Farms Community Event.  Volunteers will be needed on the day of the event and also to bring  potluck items . Event at the Farm

We are excited to announce our first Member Event to be held on Sunday, June 13th from 3-5pm in conjunction with the Historic Society's Annual Strawberry Festival. During the Festival, we will have an Open House at the Distribution Area for CSA Members and non-Members alike to meet us and ask us any question about Norwell Farms and the CSA .  Please feel free to tour the farm, meet us and other members and enjoy the strawberries! 

Note to CSA Members: CSA picks-ups start the following week on Tuesday and Thursday June 22 & 24.  If you cannot attend the Festival, we will hold a second Open House at the Distribution Area on Tuesday, June 15th from 5-7pm.  Please check out the new CSA Members page for a more information on CSA distributions. 

Wish List

Our wish list is growing! We need spading forks, shovels, hoes and rakes in good condition, and a trailer or transport vehicle for our veggies from the field to the distribution site. Please email us at info@norwellfarms.org with anything you would like to donate to the farm!
